Evening of uplifting music will support those in need in the Holy Land

Ecumenical Christian charity Friends of the Holy Land (FHL) invites you to an unforgettable evening of uplifting music to raise your spirits while also raising much-needed funds for those in need in the Holy Land.
This rare musical experience is an evening of virtuoso singing and entertainment in Westminster Cathedral, featuring the London Welsh Male Voice Choir supported by The Priests.
“It’s a great privilege that permission for this concert has been given in this sacred space, renowned for its superb acoustics,” said FHL executive director Brendan Metcalfe.
“The London Welsh Male Voice Choir has sung at Britain’s most prestigious concert halls and cathedrals, appeared at two Royal Variety Command Performances and recorded with Charlotte Church, Aled Jones and Bryn Terfel.

The Priests
The Priests

“The Priests are an acclaimed classical musical group made up of three Catholic priests from the Diocese of Down and Connor in Northern Ireland, two brothers, Father Eugene and Father Martin O’Hagan, along with Father David Delargy.
“The trio have been singing together since they boarded in the 1970s as students at St MacNissi’s College, County Antrim, and have the unusual honour of having been allowed to record in St Peter’s Basilica.
“In the current economic climate, we find that we have to raise funds and awareness in new ways to get the results we need to support our work, so this concert is a new direction for us.
“We hope people will come and give their support while enjoying two very special performances.”
Tickets for the concert – which takes place on Thursday February 16 at 7.30pm – start at £20 and are available now through Eventbrite at bit.ly/3i0ath2 or by searching “LWMVC Concert at Westminster Cathedral”. Alternatively, or call 01926 512980.
FHL has groups and supporters across the country. The charity has an office in Bethlehem to support vulnerable Christians and its work also includes two major projects in Bethlehem, School of Joy, providing education and therapy to disabled children, and St Martha’s House, a day centre for elderly women.
