Large numbers of people throughout the Diocese have been asking about giving Bishop John a gift from the people of the Diocese.

Collection envelopes are now available in all parishes for people who would like to make a contribution to the gift. Please return the envelopes to your parish church as soon as possible.

Any groups or organisations in parishes or beyond who would like to make a contribution are invited to contact their parish priest for further information.

Later in the year it is hoped that Bishop John will return for a farewell Mass of Thanksgiving for his ministry as our Bishop in St Mary’s Cathedral and this would be an appropriate occasion to make a presentation to him.
