Women’s World Day of Prayer this year provides a wonderful opportunity to build up unity among Christians. Prepared by the women of Papua, New Guinea, the theme is ‘In Christ there are many members, but one body’. Look out for your local service on the first Friday in March – the 6th. York Central service is at York Baptist Church, Priory Street at 2.00 pm with a Catholic speaker, Catherine McGlinchey. There is also an evening service at 7.30 pm in St Martin-le-Grand, Coney Street.
