Bible Reading at English Martyrs, York
‘The performers’ enthusiasm was infectious’, was the audience’s verdict on the music and drama evening to launch the reading of Genesis, the first book of the bible, at English Martyrs’ Parish, York.
The evening was compered by Harrizona Fiorde, ‘European professor of archaeology’, who steered us through the diary entries and inside stories from Genesis. Parishioners were joined by members of St Paul’s, the Rock Church and St Clement’s.
The warm welcome and fellowship over tea, coffee and cake forged new friendships.
