To mark the 150th anniversary of the death of the Venerable Marie-Madeleine d’Houet, foundress of the Faithful Companions of Jesus, you are all invited to a Concelebrated Mass of Thanksgiving at St Mary’s Cathedral, Middlesbrough on Saturday 5th April at 12 noon.
As readers will realise from both Margaret Turnham’s excellent article on the Ordination of Bishop Lacy and the report of Bishop Terence Drainey’s Ordination, the Faithful Companions of Jesus have been tireless in their work for and support of our diocese since its very foundation so there must be many priests, teachers and students, friends and acquaintances who would like to fill the Cathedral with joyful song in gratitude for the life and work of the Venerable Marie-Madeleine d’Houet.
