The Knights of St Columba is inviting young people aged 16 to 23 to take part in a virtual Zoom seminar on Wednesday July 22.
The theme is “Our faith yesterday, our faith today and our faith tomorrow – what are the challenges ahead?”

8.45am–9am: Roll Call, Introduction and Opening Prayers.
9am–9.45am: First speaker – Past Supreme Knight Brother Tony Britten KCSG KCHS, “I question that I may perceive the truth – should we fear challenges?”
9.45am–10am: Q&A
10am–10.15am: Break
10.15am–11am: Second speaker – Father Innocent Abonyi MSP, pictured, regional superior of the Missionary Society of St Paul and parish priest and chaplain to KSC Province 12 Southwark, “’You are a letter from Christ’ (2 Co. 3:3) – the need for right ‘culture’ and ‘attitude’ among Christian youth today.”
11am–11.15am: Q&A
11.15am–Noon: Third speaker – Louise Grant, director of youth development, SPUC Scotland, “the gift of life – Restoring hearts and minds to a culture of life.”
Noon–12.15pm: Angelus and Q&A
12.15pm–1.15pm: Lunch
1.15pm–2pm: Fourth speaker – Father Ian Bathgate SX, a Xaverian missionary and priest ministering in the Archdiocese of Glasgow and chaplain to KSC Council 520 Coatbridge, “Forget alternatives, I trust hope.”
2pm–2.15pm: Q&A
2.15pm–3pm: Review, feedback and closing prayers
