The annual outdoor May Procession on Sunday 15th May at St Vincent’s Church in Hull.
It is believed to be the last survivor of this ancient Marian tradition in the southern half of the Diocese and attracted visitors from as far afield as Beverley and Hornsea.
The weather was rather inclement but it stayed dry for the whole of the outdoor part. The statue of Mary was crowned by the May Queen and her attendants.
