I’m sure that most people in the Diocese are aware of the work and impact of Caroline Dollard, our ‘Celebrating Family’ Project Worker. Caroline is now at the start of her third year leading this important Marriage and Family Life initiative. She has travelled widely, leading workshops exploring the welcoming parish and the holiness of family life, as well as facilitating parenting skills and listening skills courses. In addition, our Diocese is taking part in piloting ‘Passing on the Faith’ – a national initiative which seeks to explore and strengthen home/school/parish links.

Under the restructuring of the Diocese, Caroline’s role has moved into the new Vicariate for Christian Discipleship. By an unfortunate oversight, when the 2011 Diocesan Year Book was printed, Caroline’s contact details and information about the Marriage and Family Life Department were omitted.
