Mass for the Care of Creation will be celebrated at St Mary’s Cathedral in Middlesbrough on Sunday October 2 at 5pm.
The People's Emergency Briefing Film on the climate and nature crisis will be shown afterwards at 6.15pm in the hall, followed by refreshments and discussion.
The 50-minute film features footage from last November’s National Emergency Briefing, which brought together leading UK experts in climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature.
It presents a calm, evidence-based overview of how the climate and nature crisis is affecting everyday life in Britain – and what the science says about risks and responses. All are welcome (it is recommended that those joining the film are aged 16-plus).
