An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and professional administrator to undertake the role of schools’ service administrator in the Diocese of Middlesbrough.
The schools’ service administrator supports the director (and deputy director) of education in all their day-to-day business operations.
This involves a range of secretarial support functions including administration associated with Catholic Schools’ inspections (for which training will be provided), collaboration with the North East Hub of Catholic Dioceses and providing a lead administrative role in the coordination of foundation governors.
Other duties include course bookings, liaising with venues, diary and inbox management, arranging and taking meeting minutes, keeping electronic and paper files and dealing with all correspondence.
The schools’ service administrator also provides comprehensive secretarial support for other departments in the Curia as required.
The role would suit a confident, enthusiastic administrator, ideally with experience of working with achools, with a high degree of competence in typing and electronic file management.
The role is offered on a basis of working term-times, but we would consider other working arrangements, including part- or full-time work.
Please contact hr@rcdmidd.org.uk for an application form and job description.
