Prayers and Support urgently needed for Anselme!

New removal directions have been set for Anselme Noumbiwa, the Cameroonian Christian who fled in fear of his life for refusing to follow his tribal custom by entering into polygamous marriages. He is now due to be deprted on 28th April.

We would like to ask you to pray for Anselme – the personification of Obedience to God before obedience to man – this weekend, in your church. And please, send the name and location of your church. This way we can show how much support Anselme has and generate more concern about this injustice.

St Anselme’s day, 21st April, was the day of his planned removal from UK. Please help us show that support for this young man is nationwide. He is not afraid. He has a life to lose and is willing to lose it. The manner of his death is what causes fear. We have only to stand beside him. We ask priests, religious, vicars, ministers …all religious leaders to pass to other churches/convents/schools. Twitter/Facebook congregations.

It has again today been emphasised that Anselme will not be safe in Cameroon and will not be able to practise his religion. Indeed, he will, as the Kingmaker stated, bear the consequences if he does not comply with the tradition. He cannot be protected by the church – he cannot be protected in Cameroon.

Pray for our attempts and those of Christians in Cameroon to find evidence for Anselme – more evidence, this case has been proven time and time again! As we were told 2 years ago by UKBA ‘they’ do not want a successful application in this case.

This flies in the face of of the statement that each application is considered on individual merit and shows there will not be a just decision in his case unless we all support him.

Please send name of church/convent to the jctc1@hotmail.co.uk
