The Retreat Day, in preparation for the Rite of Election, will be on Saturday 26th January 2008 at All Saints Lower School, Nunnery Lane, York. All who are to be received or baptised into the Catholic Church at Easter are invited to attend, together with their sponsors, godparents and catechists.

As in previous years they will be presented with a copy of the Lord’s Prayer, and will also be invited to sign the Book of the Elect, which will be presented at the Rite of Election in the Cathedral on the First Sunday of Lent, 10th February. The day will be led by Caroline Dollard.

The Retreat will start at 11.00 am, (coffee and registration from 10.30 am), and close at 2.30 pm. Tea and coffee will be provided, but those attending should bring a packed lunch.
