St Hilda’s School delight

Miss Pam Crabtree, headteacher of St Hilda’s RC Primary School, Whitby writes, ‘We are delighted with our OFSTED Report.

‘It is an external recognition of all our good work, which, of course, will continue. The recognition of behaviour as outstanding affirmed our views of the high expectations we have and the high standards we maintain.’

In addition the Section 48 Report recognised many outstanding features including:

* Provision for pupils with special educational needs.
* The Headteacher’s contribution to the overall effectiveness of the school and the work of the Governing Body.

Collective worship throughout the school was judged to be outstanding in all areas.

‘The Reports are true reflections of the school which, with its committed Governing Body, hardworking dedicated staff, pupils who enjoy coming to school, and the very supportive parents who appreciate the work of the school, lead to it being the happy successful school that it is.’

Mrs Ventress, the Chair of Governors added, ‘The Governors of St Hilda’s are delighted at the success of our recent OFSTED Inspection, which is a great tribute to the hard work and dedication of the staff. We are very grateful for the support of parents, and everyone who is in any way associated with the school.

‘We are very proud of the good behaviour and the achievements of our children, and would like to thank everyone who contributes to the success of our school.’
