The May Procession went without a hitch and we were heartened by visitors from surrounding parishes. Following a cloudburst, which contained rain, hail and snow all at once, we were holding our breath but the sunshine lasted just long enough.
The church was a blaze of flowers and the children looked lovely.
A wonderful memory for Fr White to take into retirement with him and I’m sure he will be back as a visitor to this ancient and memorable Marian devotion next year.
