A thoroughly wet afternoon didn’t dampen the spirits of the pilgrims who gathered at Ugthorpe for the annual Postgate Rally in honour of Blessed Nicholas Postgate and the martyrs of England and Wales, though it did mean that the pilgrims had to gather in St Anne’s Church to avoid the downpour.
Monsignor Dasey was the chief celebrant and Fr Stephen Maughan preached the homily.
