Praying for the Healing of Wounds caused by Abortion and Witnessing to the Sanctity of Life (with blessing of Very Rev Bishop Arthur, Leeds, and Bishop Terence, Middlesbrough, Bishop Seamus, Hexham and Newcastle)
NB. There will be Adoration of Blessed Sacrament in St Wilfrid’s next to the Minster from 12-1.15pm
1.15 – 1.30 pm Procession assembles at West front precinct of York Minster
Process to Margaret Clitherow Monument, Ousebridge, where 70 red and white flowers will be thrown into river, each representing 100,000 aborted babies. Process to Bar Convent grounds. Veneration of relic of Margaret Clitherow. Process to Knavesmire for prayers.
Process to Church of English Martyrs for Holy Mass (approx 5.00 pm).
