Dear Friends
Tackling HIV and AIDS - CAFOD Supporters Day 10.00am to 4.00pm English Martyrs Parish Hall, Dalton Terrace, York
Come along and listen to CAFOD overseas staff speaking about their work in supporting people and communities living with HIV and AIDS.
Speakers include: Ann Smith (CAFOD’s HIV Strategist); Joe Turay (Programme Manager, Sierra Leone); Catherine Ogolla (HIV and AIDS Programme Officer, Kenya) and Montserrat Fernandez (Programme Officer, Nicaragua).
There will be time for prayer and reflection during our opening and closing liturgies.
It promises to be an inspiring and informative day. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, discuss wider CAFOD related issues, network with others and meet up with friends old and new.
Our previous supporters days have been well attended, providing inspiration and insight into the overseas work of CAFOD.
Please invite your friends and parishioners. It would be great if every parish in the diocese sent at least one representative.
Tea and coffee will be provided but people are asked to bring their own lunch.
