Mass will be celebrated by Mgr Gerard Dasey, Vicar General. CAFOD Trustee and Parish Priest from Hexham and Newcastle Diocese, Fr Jim O’Keefe, will preach the homily. The Mass is being organised by CAFOD, Union of Catholic Mothers, Catholic Women’s League and National Board of Catholic Women (the women’s organisations responsible for the very first Family Fast Day in 1960). Come and join us in this wonderful celebration of thanksgiving. We would very much love to fill the cathedral. It would be truly inspiring if every parish, school and organisation in the Diocese was represented. All are welcome!
