CAFOD will be holding ‘A Day With CAFOD’ event on Saturday 26 January from 10.00am to 4.00pm at Christ the King Church Hall, Trenchard Avenue, Thornaby.

The aims of the days are to update our volunteers and supporters on the overall work of CAFOD including our overseas work, our work with volunteers, parishes, schools and communities here in England and Wales.

CAFOD’s work has developed immensely over the years and the context within which CAFOD is working has also changed. Therefore, it is important that we keep our volunteers and supporters sufficiently updated on these fronts.

The day will also provide the opportunity to meet other CAFOD volunteers and supporters, network and share experiences of being involved with CAFOD.

The day will be facilitated by Lucy Harrison from Community Fundraising and myself. I will also be giving an input about my recent visit to CAFOD projects in Mozambique.
