Preparing for Advent 2009

Who is the Christ we meet this Advent? (Lectionary Year C)

This event is being held at St Francis’ Church Hall, Acklam Road, Middlesbrough on Saturday 26th September 2009 from 2.00 pm.

This is an opportunity for those who lead or are part of a Children’s Liturgy team in a parish (or school) to:

• Reflect on our own practice for Children’s Liturgy
• Refresh the vision for Children’s Liturgy of the Word
• Look at the skills we have for opening up and sharing scripture with children, especially on a Sunday when the parish community gathers

We will also:

• Look at the four Sundays of Advent and explore the question: Who is the Christ we meet this Advent?
