The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) investigation report into the Roman Catholic Church of England and Wales was published on November 10 2020.

This investigation report examines the extent of institutional failings by the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales to protect children from sexual abuse and examines the Church’s current safeguarding regime.

It has made recommendations concerning leadership, training, compliance, audit, Canon Law, safeguarding policy and procedures and a complaints policy.

The report, which you can read below, will be considered at the next Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales meeting.
