At the Justice and Peace and CAFOD meeting to be held at St Francis, Acklam Road, Middlesbrough on 14th November, Michael Edwards, CAFOD’s Climate Change Programme Development Officer, will speak about the impact that climate change is having on people in developing countries, about the need to work for climate justice, and about the forthcoming climate talks in Copenhagen in December. Gerard Russell, a director of a renewable energy company and a lifelong environmentalist, will focus both on the global picture and, more specifically, on some of the real problems facing UK biodiversity. There will be opportunities to ask questions on global and local issues, and to consider our own contribution to the current situation.
