The Diocesan Women’s Commission is having a summer outing in York on 11th July. The day begins with Mass at the Shrine of St Margaret Clitherow in the Shambles at 10.00 am, then on to the Minster for a guided tour.
After lunch the day continues (at about 1.45 pm) at the Bar Convent with the opportunity to have a guided tour (at a small charge) or to wander at will, followed by a short liturgy. It is open to all men as well as women. Names to P Ellis by 20th June, tel (01904) 793391.
